01

Method

Separate observed facts, assumptions and unverified explanations. Avoid replacing uncertainty with vague confidence.

02

Worked example

Fact: P02 counted 14 versus expected 15. Assumption: movement records and count refer to the same time. Unverified explanation: an omitted shipment. Next action: recount and align timestamps.

03

Your exercise

Rewrite “Our stock process is unreliable” as a scoped observation and a proportionate next action. Do not assign blame from a single record.

04

Review criteria

Check audience, units, period, inclusion rule, evidence and next action. Avoid claiming causation, certainty or measured impact that your source does not establish.

Make the reasoning yours.

Try the activity before reading its reference. Keep your sources, commands and assumptions with your work. Companion activities are unsaved self-practice and do not award a certificate or change lesson progress.
