Prerequisites
Excel desktop or another spreadsheet editor with CSV import. Exact menus vary by version.
Steps and expected result
Import using UTF-8 and comma delimiter. Set IDs to text and money fields to whole numbers. Confirm 8 retail rows. If all data appears in one column, choose the correct delimiter. Dates should remain the documented YYYY-MM labels. English formula names/separators may differ by locale.
Verification
Check the input row count and case control totals before attempting a larger exercise. Record your operating system/tool version when asking for support. Never include passwords or private source records.
Independent check
Explain which output proves the setup works and which capabilities remain untested. Do not disable security settings to make an exercise run.
