WORKED INCIDENT / EVIDENCE MEMO — FICTIONAL TABLETOP
The example window breaches its declared publication-success objective: eighteen of twenty
unique jobs succeeded, a 90% rate against the sample 95% target. The nearest-rank p 95 is
1000 ms. Two failures exceed the one-failure allowance by one. These observations describe
only the supplied final-job fixture, not production availability, and do not identify a root cause.

The next response is to assign an owner, confirm impact and inspect bounded error categories,
recent release/configuration evidence and collection completeness. The local release drill
activated v2, refused an invalid v3 and repointed to v1 without changing a fictional state file.
It demonstrates local rollback mechanics; it does not establish that a real web application
was healthy or that reverting code fixes these independent log failures.

The separate backup drill restored two snapshot orders totaling 70000 cents with structural
integrity and matching logical content. Its current source remained three orders totaling
75000. The restored snapshot omits the later 5000-cent order. Any real promotion would need
an explicit recovery-point decision and reconciliation of newer legitimate data. The tiny
local timing is not a promised RTO, and a same-device temporary backup is not offsite protection.

The queue lab kept event markers and totals in one transaction, rolled back a pre-commit
failure and completed a rerun without double-adding repeated IDs. This proves only the stated
single-database effect, not exactly-once email, payment or distributed broker behavior.

The cloud inventory is design-only, with invented monthly-if-forgotten rates totaling 1520
cents and an illustrative alert at 1600. No resources were provisioned or torn down. The two-hour
review target is not automatic expiry. Docker, hosted CI and provider IaC remain unexecuted.
A real follow-up requires authorized scope, verified resources/prices and acceptance evidence.
The platform's current accounts, uploads, payments and registration settings are untouched.
